Ohio KePRO reviews medical cases as requested by Medicare beneficiaries, beneficiary
representatives, Medicare, or designated hospital staff members. Ohio KePRO case
review services are free for Ohioans with Medicare.

Hospital Data Collection, Reporting and Validation
As part of the Medicare Beneficiary Protection Project, Ohio KePRO helps Ohio hospitals
to accurately abstract data related to the quality measures that focus on inpatient processes, outpatient processes, mortality rates, and patient satisfaction topics, and to submit the
information to a national data warehouse on schedule.
