The Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting (OQR) program, also known as the Hospital Outpatient Quality Data for Annual Payment Updated (HOP QDRP) program, is a Medicare Hospital Quality Initiative patterned after the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) program. Under the OQR program, hospitals must meet administrative, data collection and submission, and data validation requirements in order to qualify for the Annual Payment Update (APU). Participating hospitals agree to make their quality measure data available to consumers on the Medicare Hospital Compare website.

The resources provided below may aid hospitals in meeting OQR program requirements.
