What is the HHQI?

The Home Health Quality Initiative (HHQI), an effort of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is a campaign to improve the quality of care in home health care across the country. Through the HHQI, Ohio KePRO offers educational programs, resource materials, and quality improvement expertise at no cost to all Ohio home health agencies.

More information about the HHQI is available on the CMS Web site.

What is the OBQI system?

The goal of the Outcome Based Quality Improvement (OBQI) system is to use OASIS-derived outcome information to improve patient care processes and specific clinical outcomes. The Ohio KePRO HHQI Team provides consultation services, training, and support on the OBQI system to all agencies in Ohio.
